UK coronavirus latest: Where in the UK all 11,658 positive COVID-19 cases have been confirmed – Cambridge News

Almost 9,800 cases of COVID-19 are spread out across England

The most infected area of England now has almost 300 positive cases of coronavirus, new data has confirmed.
Birmingham is the local authority area which now tops the list, with 290 cases of COVID-19, ahead of Hampshire, which has 267 cases.
The latest data has been issued by Public Health England as it was revealed that the number of cases across the UK has now reached 11,658, almost 9,800 of which are in England.
Scotland has 894 confirmed cases, Wales stands at 741 and Northern Ireland has 241 cases, with England making up the remaining 9,782.
More than 2,000 positive cases were confirmed in the 24-hour window from Wednesday (March 25) to 9am on Thursday (March 26), while the death toll also rose by 115 to 578 fatalities.
With the numbers confirmed for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, PHE also break down the data from England by area, based on postcodes.
