Pakistan Super League has been canceled by knockout to go, the Pakistan Cricket Board announced on Tuesday.
PSL knockout match scheduled to be played in Lahore today, however, the remaining matches including late Wednesday has been canceled.
Former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar was in agreement with the PCB and added that the decision should have been given a week ago as the game is being played behind closed doors, have lost their charm.
“It is now the hour we need to do what the world, the PCB should have canceled the tournament last week because without crowd was not pleasant,” said Akhtar.
Former cricketer Sikander Bakht suggest that unfinished tournament can be concluded before the beginning of next year.
He said that although the tournament is complete, the PSL 2020 “hit the target show the world that Pakistan is safe to stage a great tournament”

In the first semifinal sultan Multan Peshawar were set to face Zalmi at 14:00 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore while Karachi Kings and Qalandars are set to face each other in the night match.

Final tournament rescheduled to be played tomorrow after the PCB to move the tournament to 18 March from March 22.
Meanwhile, Pakistan and Bangladesh cricket board Monday decided to postpone the upcoming one-day international and Test in Karachi for a later date.
